From the plant
Sheet, panels and gutters in the making — at our plant in Gazi Baba.
From coil to profile: unwound, roll-formed, cut. The production hall — profiling, cutting and folding under one roof. Pre-painted sheet. The whole coil is coated at once, so every sheet cut from it matches. The roll former. Each pair of rollers bends the sheet a little further until the profile emerges. Cut to size on the hydraulic shear. Roof sandwich panels — steel outside, insulation inside, laid in a single step. Folding. Flashings and trims are bent to the angle and length on your drawing. Coils in stock. Sheet stays wound until an order gives it a size. Measuring before the cut. A few millimetres out on the ground becomes a gap on the roof. Sandwich panels on the forklift, bound for a building site. Cutting sheets. Each sheet is squared against the stop so every panel comes out true. Gutter outlets in several colours, so the whole system matches the roof. Our team. The machines hold the size; the people know the craft. Galvanized sheet. The zinc keeps protecting the steel even where the surface is scratched. From coil to folded profile. The hydraulic shear: one straight cut across the full width of the sheet. Panels end-on: the insulating core is sealed between two steel skins. Rima Stil at work. Different sheet profiles — the designation describes the profile, not the thickness. Measure, cut, fold — the handwork that finishes what the machines start. Unwinding: the coil pays out evenly so the sheet enters the machine flat.
